Wow Christmas is almost here. I am so glad because I have a 5 day weekend. So hopefully I can get the whole enchilada done like, skiing, caroling, visiting the sick, making someone feel glad, house to house for the holidays and much much more. I love this time of year.

Twilight Movie Review

I rate the movie between a b and b-. If you read the books and seen the movie, then your should read Kristine's blog. She sums it right on the nail of what I think most of us thought about the movie who read the book. My comments on her blog were that they did a good job with picking Edwards and Bella's characters but the rest, they did a horrible job. The makeup was way too much. They need to tone down the white powder. The sparkles on Edward was way too cheesy. But the scenery shots I thought were amazing. It makes me want to go to Washington. My favorite part is when Edward and Bella are in the Trees looking at the river. Breath taking. I thought they did a good job between the narration and speaking parts. They couldn't really build on the character because then the movie would be 4 hours long. But in most cases you always enjoy the books better than the movie because you really get into the characters. A movie you just don't have the time. That is my review. How did you all like it?

November.

November what an exciting crazy month it's been for our politics and economy.
Wow US made history with Obama. I voted for the underdog because I knew he would not win but I am glad to see US make history.
Sunday was my birthday! I am hitting the last of my twenties. So I need to make 29 go out with a bang. What should I do????????????
Work has been going good and our dog Bella ran away but found our house and we woke up to her soaking wet on the front porch. I am glad she knows how to find her way back. I just hope she is not pregnant. Need to go get her spaded.
All is good in the Willis home. I hope all of you are doing great.
It's Thanksgiving time. I am exciting to have 2 days of so I can decorate my house this year, since it did not happen last year. This month for young woman's we decorated a tree for the woman's shelter. Our theme our the Nightmare before Christmas. It's going on an auction today and I hope we make lots of money on that tree. We decorated it awesome. I will show you pictures when i get them. We have a coffin and the whole bit. Sounds demented but really it looks fabulous.

October

General Conference was awesome. This was my first year in like 6 years that I actually did not go to the Conference Building. But it was nice to stay at home and not be in the rain. But I really enjoyed the talks on honoring our nation even if it feels like its betraying you. I complain too much about how stupid the government is and do nothing about it. So now I am going to be grateful for the beautiful country we live in and be happy that I can go to a hospital and know that its not a run- down, broken windows and trash all over, like most hospitals outside our country. I am so grateful for the freedoms we have and the technology we have, which most countries live without. We should feel more blessed and not be so negative during these times of crises but learn to rise above and if we want change then we have to vote for the people we think will honor our virtues. That is my tidd bitts for the day.

New Dog

We just got a new dog this week. Her name is Rasta but we are changing it to Bella. She is nine months old and she is a Siberian Husky. She is shy, timid, fun, loving, and loves to chew on things. Our cat Simba is not fond of her yet but hopefully she will get over it. If you have any advice on dog chewing that would be great.
