City of Seattle

Here are some fun pix at the children science museum where we got to see naked mole rates eat through cement and I got to ride a bicycle above 18 feet. We also went to the chocolate factory and ate yummy sweetish chocolates. We can't miss the famous Pike farmer's market where they throw the fish and sing along. Bryan and his friend Ryan had a feast of a time eating all the seafood they could crack and stuff in their mouths. Yummy!!

Twilight

Here are photos from the Town of Forks. We even stayed at Port Angeles. That town was very great for site seeing. Forks was a small, small town. But the reservation was cool. The Spartan high school was built in 1925. But they are remodeling it this year. We found out that Stephanie Meyers did not even visit the town of Forks until after she wrote her first book. Thought that was interesting. So if you happen to be a twilight fan go visit these towns. The hiking and waterfalls are gorgeous.

Seattle

This was our beautiful trip to Seattle. We did the whole Twilight thing and visited Forks and the rain forest and La Push beach. It was gorgeous. Then we played in the city and stayed in a beautiful hotel right smack in the middle of town. One night the cops would not let us go to our hotel because there was a person on a roof with a gun. So that was interesting we had to wait an hour before they let us go back to our hotel. We got some cheesecake from the cheesecake factory and that made up for our night. All in all it was great times. Bryan got to eat his crabs and lobster. I got to do my hiking and waterfalls. If your wondering why my stomach is getting fatter it's because I am three months pregnant and we just found out we are having a boy, Kent Reed Willis will be born in the beginning of February 2010. We are excited!!

Inventions

If I were an inventor I would invent:

  • A cell phone that would charge itself w/ out plugging it in.
  • A Musical Theme Park: I would name the rides like U2 Zone or Beatles Mania or Madonna World.
  • I would have every student at a college take a classes on, engineering, writing a computer language, business management, and social skills just so they are ready when the hit the real world.
  • An activity that zaps all your stress away; I didn't say pill because we already abuse our bodies by taking too much of them.
  • Computer that does hurt your eyes when you have to look at it all day long.
  • A car that gets low gas miles but has power. Actually I would invent a magic carpet ride.
  • Politicians that wouldn't rob good American tax payers money.

Challenges

These last couples week have been tiring and a blessing. At the end of March I was laid-off from my job at TerraTek A Schlumberger Co. due to the economy and that hit me very unexpectantly. So it hurt my pride but soon that turned out to be a blessing. Then a co-worker said his wife was looking for someone to hire at the Unverisity of Utah in the GeoScience Depart called Energy and GeoScience Institute. So I applied and she hired me and its been great. Now I can go back to school after I work there for 6 months for only half tuition. I have always want to go back and do my masters so now I finally get the oppurtunity. So the climb is always a challenge but we accept it and grow from it. We can be bitter and disappointed or we can rise to the challenge and grow and learn from our climb.

Bryan and I went up Juniper Trail with our dog Bella she loved the snow over Christmas break. If you have not got out and enjoyed the snow I really encourage you to do so. No greater snow on earth than Utah.
